Create A Simple Event Planner Website Using Mighty Sites [Video]

Thanks for joining me. We'll talk about how to quickly and easily build a simple professional website for your business as a freelance event planner. So the first thing you can do is click on the start free trial or launch button here to get started. Or, if you want to, you can come right down here, find your business type, which is event planner, and then click on that to get started with the freelance event planner website template. So I'm going to click on this right here. And the first thing it's going to do is ask you to enter your business name. So let's enter event planning. There we go. So let's say that is your business, but you can enter it there. Suppose you can't find your company or don't have a Google business profile yet for your event planning business. In that case, you can click here to enter the business information manually.
So I'll click continue. And then, here, it will show me my location information, and I'll show you how you can get rid of that on the template if you want. If that all looks good, you can click save or add your email. You can update the hours that you're open here as well. You can click save as soon as you are comfortable with those. If you decide to like, Hey, we'll be open from 10:00 AM. Let's say 4:30 PM on Sundays. For whatever reason you do that, click save. But if you say, oh, never mind, we're going to stay closed on Sundays, click save. And there you go. Once that all looks good for your event planning business, you click looks good next. So now it's super simple to edit. You can use these images and this text if you'd like to, it's all licensed for you to use, but if you want to make edits, I'm going to show you how simple and easy that is to do in just a second. My phone number's already there, and I can click save. Now, if I want to change this photo or move these links around, it's super easy to move them up and down. It's also straightforward to link to another website, my menu, a different part of my website, or a phone call or directions link. We remove the address, but you can do that too. If you want to add directions to like a venue, you work with things like that.
Also, update the image quickly and easily with the browser here. You upload the image you want to be the main background image of the site. You can also come down here, and if you're going to update any of the texts, you can delete or add more info about your freelance event planning business, right? So you can just simply and quickly type in the information you can see right where it shows up on the website template. And let's say you want customers to book with you by chance. So you can either have them have the contact button or click to call and confirm that. And now, when people are on your website on mobile and click on this, it'll call you immediately. Or let's say you want them to book with you. So let me just pull up my Calendly link.
There we go. Here's my Calendly link. And I'm just going to copy that and paste it right here and click save. Now, if I save this and close it and click on contact, it brings me to my calendar. So people can book a meeting with me. So let's say you want to do, you know, request, request an appointment. You can do that right there too. And then now you have a nice, easy-to-use button for people to make an appointment with you. So again, it comes with these excellent images that you can feel free to use. They're all licensed for your use. But again, you can change any of this too. You click on the update section for directions, your hours, and your footer, and it's effortless to update the information. So this is the best way to have a simple professional website for your freelance event planning business.
