Create a Simple Website for a Luggage Store - No Coding [VIDEO]

So, once you join the platform, the first thing it's going to ask you to do is to search for your market at the top. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, and people with various side hustles, and we are adding more markets every single week. So, I'm gonna head to the top, and I'm gonna search for my market, luggage store. Let's go ahead and do that. Awesome! I'm now going to go ahead and select the template.

Now, let's input a few basic details about our luggage store so it can generate a simple website for us. I'm gonna go ahead and put in my company name, as well as my city and my state's origin. It doesn't matter where in the world your luggage store is located; you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the globe. Let's go ahead and change the type of business from restaurant to retail and click on continue.

And look at that! Mighty Sites has literally generated a simple website for my luggage store in not even a minute. Let's take a closer look together. Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is, we've pre-written all the content for you as a guideline, of course. We pre-selected all the images as well. They're all really high quality, as you can see, and they're completely free to use. I'm sure you've got some of your own awesome images of all the amazing luggage you stock in your store, and you want to showcase it on your website. So, today, that's exactly what I'm going to be showing you. I'm going to be showing you how to make amendments through your Mighty South website, making my way through each section from the top to the bottom, giving you a little bit of a look and feel of how the platform works. You don't need to know coding, you don't need to be a web developer, and you certainly don't need to hire a web professional to help you either. So, let's get cracking.

I'm going to make my way to the first section at the top and go ahead and put in my company email address, as well as my phone number. I want to make sure this box is ticked to display my email address on my website. Let's go ahead and put in our phone number, which is click-to-call by the way. I'm now going to go ahead and put in our physical location, our street's address, and the postal code. Now, the great thing about that physical location is, when your customers click on it, it will automatically take them to Google maps to get directions to your physical location. Let's save and move along.

Let's head over to update social links. Now, over here, you can put in the various social media platforms your business is active on. Icons will be displayed at the top of your website, as well as the bottom. Let's move along.

I'm now heading over to update the logo. If you don't have a logo yet for your luggage store, I do recommend you check out canva.com. Lots of free, great options on the website. The logo has now been uploaded. Let's click on this pencil, and we can crop it slightly, just so it fits into that section a bit better. If you want to add filters, decorate it, add frames, rotate it, zoom in, you are free to do so in that section by clicking on the little pencil. Awesome! The logo has now been uploaded. We can make it bigger and smaller, but it's not necessary because it's cropped really nicely. Let's move along.

Now, with Mighty Sites as well, we've pre-selected all the colors used throughout your website for you. Basically, we wanted to make it as easy as possible when it comes to launching a simple website for your luggage store. Maybe these colors don't quite go with your business cards, your logo, and you want to change it? No color coding needed! Click on the little paint bucket and go through the various color palettes available for you to use. That looks really great, so I'm actually quite happy with that one, so I can change it at a later stage if need be.

Let's move on to update the image. Now, over here, you can browse your device and upload your own images. Otherwise, search through the photo library. Mercy says will automatically search for a luggage store. You can play around with the terms a little bit, so just search for luggage and see what pops up. Let's check it out. Excellent! Lots of suitable images over here; I'm quite spoiled for choice. I'm going to try this one; I can change it at a later stage if I need to. Awesome! I'm going to go ahead and save that and head on over to update content. Over here, you can change the title, subtitle to suit your needs. The button currently says "get directions"; maybe you just wanted to say "contact us today". Let's go ahead and choose the link. Now, you can link to another website if need be, you can link to an action, like click to call, directions, or click to email, which I'm going to link to, or you can upload a PDF file, maybe of your current promotions or deals you are offering. Over here, whoops, again, pre-written content, button can link to various places. Click on update section and work your magic.

We've now made our way into the "about" section. Over here, you can put a little bit more details of how your business came to be. How did you get into the luggage store industry? Perhaps it's a family-run business. What sets your store apart? Does it offer a wide range of sizes, styles, and colors of luggage to choose from? Maybe more details about the staff members, the team running the show, perhaps a team photo over here if you wanted to.

We've now made our way to the services section. Over here, you can put a little bit more detail about the different services or products that you offer. Do you offer carry-ons, backpacks, travel accessories, suitcases? Do you also do luggage repairs? Are there warranties for your products? Go ahead and put all the details under the services section.

Now, if you want to change or add your trading hours for your business, go ahead and click on the last section over here, click on update hours, and amend your trading hours so your customers know your trading times.

Now, if you have a custom domain for your luggage store, go ahead and click on "connect your domain". Say "I already have a domain", go through the various steps, and link it. If you are struggling, you can add Mighty Sites as a user, and we will connect your domain for you. If you don't have a domain yet, maybe you've recently launched your business (congratulations for starting; really wishing you and your business mighty success) and maybe you want a custom domain because, obviously, it adds more professionalism to your website. Go ahead, click on "I want a new domain" because you can purchase your domain via the Mighty Sites platform.
