Hi everyone, and welcome to this video. I'm going to show you the easiest option for creating a website for the not tech-savvy. So if you are not tech-savvy, you have found the right video and platform for you. So I'm showing you all the different pre-built themes so that all you have to do is enter some basic information and then use a point-and-click editor, and you'll be able to create and launch a website. This is the easiest option for building sites for not tech-savvy people.

Pick a Website Theme

So let's say you want to create a beauty salon website. You could go in here and select the Beauty Salon website template. So here it is right here, and you click on that, and then you answer a few simple questions. So we'll call this Keegan's Salon and then we can enter where it is.

Enter Basic Information

Well, we'll say Denver, Colorado type of business. This is a service. Retail if you sell things. But we call this service business and then click continue. And now, just like that, the system will automatically create a simple professional website for my beauty salon. So you can see how easy that is and it already comes preloaded with images that you can use. It writes the text for you. You can see I put in. I was in Denver; then it wrote, I was in Denver. It wrote my services, it wrote things that I offer. Now all you have to do is make edits to this to make it the way you like it, and then you're all set to go. So if you're not tech-savvy, this just made the process of putting together a website way easier.

Easily Change Colors

So now let me show you. Let's say you want to change colors. This is the easiest option for people who aren't tech-savvy. You can try putting in your codes for different colors. You select from all the other templates until you find one that you really like for whatever it is you're trying to build a website for. So you can click through the different options. There are tons of different color palettes until you get to one that works for you. So you can select the one you think is most appropriate for your business and that you like the best. So that's really easy. Now, when it comes to adding links, let's say you want to add a phone number to your website. So I'll just put in my phone number here, and now my phone number with the little phone icon shows up right there.

Add Contact Information To Your Website

And I want to add my email address. I can just put in my email address, and then I can click "show it," "save and close." Now, this is only $9 a month too. So this whole system, everything I'm showing you, is all included for $9 a month. So not only is it really easy for not tech-savvy people to use, but it's also really cheap and affordable for creating a website for usually a local business, but for any organization that you need. So now my, my information's there. Let's say I have a Facebook page that I want to link to it. So let me just put it on Facebook.

Add A Logo To The Site

So now I added my Facebook link close, and now you can see that my Facebook link is there too. Now, if I go to the update section and have a logo, I can browse and upload my logo here. So let me show you. I'll find a logo for myself. If you don't have a logo, you can ignore this part, but let's just say, let's say I want to add my logo. I'll use the Mighty Sites logo. So here I, here. I upload it, and then I can save it. And now my logo's there. Now I can just click on make it Bigger, or I can click on the button to make it smaller. So again, this is made to be really easy. I can even click on this pencil and have all these editing tools if I want them.

Edit Images

So framing, resizing, annotating, cropping, the image, those are all built-in. So that's ready to go for you to use too. I was just trying to make it the easiest to build a website. So there, that looks about good to me. So now these headers have come along. Now again, depending on what you're building a website for, I selected the Beauty Salon template. You may have chosen any other local business or organization templates, but I can go in here and edit this. So I think this text looks good, but let's say I want to add more. This is the easiest option for building a website. Whatever it is. And it is just going to add that text for me automatically. I can see what it looks like as I type it, which is really lovely. And then I can have this button here and I can link to another website, just pasting the link in.

Update and Edit Website Links

I can link to a different section that I want to on my website. I can click on actions and have it call or upload a pdf. And then when I click on it, it'll open the pdf. It makes it really easy to put together a website. Furthermore, you can edit any of this text, you can edit this button to be whatever you want. You can upload images and write any of the text right here. Change these images by uploading browsing from your computer to the image you wish to upload. And when it's all set and you feel comfortable with it, you can get ready to launch this. So you do that by going to stop editing, and you'll see those little buttons go away. So you can have a lovely new preview of your website.

Launching Your New Website

And then once you're done with that, you can go back over to the site dashboard, connect a domain, and then right in here, you can enter the domain name that you want to connect. So if you have a domain from Google Domains, GoDaddy, or anything like that, paste it here. And then, it walks you through a nice little wizard that helps you connect your domain and gives you instructions to provide to whomever your domain company is to help connect it. And then, once that's all set, Mighty Sites will connect your domain. You can always go back here from the dashboard and click on updates to make any edits to your site at any time. But once everything looks good and is ready to go, then you can stop editing, launch your site, and then showcase it to everyone, even though you're not thought of as tech-savvy, that you just built a brand new website for yourself, for your small business or organization.
