Creating a website for your dog walking service doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. Today, I'm going to show you how to use the Mighty platform to build a simple and affordable website for your dog walking business.

Once you've registered an account, the first thing you'll be asked to do at the top is to search for your market. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for various small businesses, and we are adding more every single week. Let's head to the top and search for our market: dog walker. There it is! I'm now going to go ahead and select that template.

Excellent! Let's tell Mighty a few basic details about our business: company name, city, and the state or region where we operate. It doesn't matter where in the world you're located; you can enjoy the Mighty service. We have happy users from all around the globe.

Once you click on "Continue," Mighty will automatically generate a simple website for your business, doing all the hard work. There we go! It will bring up a popup showing you how to customize your new website in under 30 seconds. Don't worry about that for now because today I'm going to show you the ropes.

The beauty of Mighty is that we've pre-written all the content for you. This is just a guideline, of course. We've also pre-selected all the images, which are all high quality, free to use, and look absolutely adorable. However, I'm sure you have some of your own images of yourself walking your furry friends that you want to showcase on your website. Maybe give your customers a face to the business or make a few amendments to the content to show people how you got into the dog walking industry and your love for dogs. It's super simple to make changes to your Mighty website. You don't need to know any coding or be a web professional in any way, and you certainly don't need to hire anyone to help you. You can literally do it all yourself, even if you're not that tech-savvy.

So, let's get started. Let me show you around. I'm going to make my way to the first section at the top and click on the "Update Section" button. Here, you can put in a few basic details about your business and contact details for your customers' convenience. Let's go ahead and pop in our email address here. We want to make sure that's visible for our customers, so let's tick that box. Awesome! The phone number is click-to-call, by the way. If you have a physical location, you can pop it in here. When your website's live, your customers can click on the address and be taken directly to Google Maps for directions.

Underneath "Update Social Links" is where you can put in the various social media platforms that your business is active on. Pop in the links there, and the icons will be displayed at the top and bottom of your Mighty website to encourage engagement. Your customers can give you a follow on social media.

In the next section, if you have a business logo, head on over to that section. If you don't have a logo yet, we really recommend that you get one. Check out our other YouTube videos to create a free logo for your business. Let's go ahead and upload our logo here. Once it's uploaded, you can click on the little pencil to crop it, rotate it, add filters or frames. Otherwise, click on "Save." Here, you can make your logo bigger or smaller to fit better.

To change the colors used throughout your Mighty website, you don't need to know color coding at all. Just click on the little paint bucket on the bottom right-hand corner and go through the various color palette options available. There are so many options to choose from, and there will definitely be one to suit your business.

For each section you want to personalize for your business, just click on the "Update Section" button. Head over to "Update Image" to browse your device and upload your own images or search through the photo library. We have hundreds of free high-quality images to choose from. You also have the option to connect your Instagram account with a click of a button and automatically pull in those photos.

Under "Update Action" is where we have those quick action buttons. You can change the text on the buttons and where they link to, or even upload a PDF file. At the bottom, we have a lead generation form where your customers can easily reach out to you with their queries. You can keep track of all your leads in your Mighty dashboard.

Domains are easy to set up as well. If you have a custom domain, just click on "Connect Your Domain." If you don't have a custom domain, we recommend that you get one to make your website look more professional and trustworthy, and to stand out from your competitors. You can purchase a custom domain via the Mighty platform as well.
