Now, once you’ve registered an account, the first thing it's going to ask you to do when creating a website is to search for your market. Now we've got hundreds of different markets to choose from for various small businesses. Let's go ahead and search for our market—barber shop. There it is over there. I'm now going to go ahead and select that option.

Great. Let's input a few basic details about our barber shop so it can generate a simple website for us. Pop in your business name, city, and state or region. Doesn't matter where in the world you're operating from—you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the world.

Now, once you click on that continue button, Mighty Sites will do all the hard work, work its magic, and generate a simple website for your business with the information you've just put in. It will also automatically bring up this popup showing you how to customize your new website in under 30 seconds. Don’t worry about that for now, because today I'm going to be showing you around.

And physical location—maybe you are a mobile barber shop or mobile barber and you don't have a physical location, but if you have one, pop one in over here. When your website’s live, your customers can actually click on that address and be taken directly to Google Maps for directions.

Underneath "Update Social Links," put in the various social media platforms your business is active on. Once you've done so, the icons will be displayed at the top as well as at the bottom of your website. Your customers can give you a follow on social media and get some engagement going.

Now, underneath the next section—if you have a business logo for your barber shop, go ahead and upload it over here. You can click on that pencil icon to crop it, rotate it, add filters or frames. Otherwise, here on the right is where you can resize your logo—you can make it bigger and smaller to fit into that section a bit better.

To change the colors used throughout your Mighty Sites website, you absolutely don't need to know any color coding. Just click on that paint icon—go through the various color palette options. There are so many to choose from.

If you'd like to change the photos on your Mighty Sites website—maybe the call-to-action buttons as well and where they link to—click on that "Update Section" button directly underneath the section. Underneath "Update Images" is where you can browse your device and upload your own images or search through the photo library. We've literally got hundreds of free, high-quality images to choose from. You also have the option to connect your Instagram account and pull in those photos if you have a business profile.

And then you "Update Actions," where you can change those call-to-action buttons. You can change where they're linked to and the text on them. You can even upload a PDF file—maybe with more details on your different rates or a price list.

Underneath "Update Website," perhaps if you take online bookings, you can pop in the URL over here for a third-party booking service.

And the last section is where you can put in your opening hours for your barber shop for your customers’ convenience. Click on "Update Hours," put in the various opening hours for each day of the week. Once you click on "Save," the page will automatically reload after saving and display your opening hours in the section at the bottom.

Now, custom domains are really easy as well. If you already have a custom domain, you can click on this button at the bottom to connect it. If you don't have a custom domain yet, we really recommend that you get one to make your website look even more professional, trustworthy, and stand out from all your competitors in your area. Click on that button as well—you actually have the option to purchase a custom domain via the Mighty Sites platform as well.
