Now, once you join the platform, the very first thing it's going to ask you to do is to search for your market. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for various small businesses. We are adding more markets every single week. So let's go ahead and search for our market: Landscape designer. There it is over there. Let's go ahead and select that option.

Great! Let Mighty Sites gather a few basic details about our business to generate a simple website for us. I'm gonna pop in my city and my state or region over here. It doesn't matter where in the world your business is located; you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from literally all around the globe. Let's go ahead and click on continue and let Mighty Sites to work its magic with the information I've just popped in. And there you have it! It's literally generated a simple website for my landscape design business in a couple of seconds. Let's take a closer look at the website together and see what it's come up with.

Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is we've actually pre-written all the content for you as a guideline. Of course, we've also pre-selected all the images as well. They're all really high quality, as you can see, completely free for you to use as well. That looks absolutely stunning. However, I'm sure you've got some of your own images of beautiful landscapes you've designed, and you want to showcase them on your website. Maybe make one or two amendments to the content. Perhaps you don't offer all these services. Today, I'm going to be showing you exactly how to do that. You don't need to know coding or be a web professional of any sort. Certainly, you don't need to hire anyone either to help you. So let's get started.

I'm going to click on the first section at the top and make my way through. Let's go ahead and pop in our email address over here. I want to make sure that that is visible on my website, so I'm going to go ahead and click on this box. Show email? Yes, there it is. Now my customers can easily reach out to me if need be. Let's pop in our phone number over here. That is click-to-call, by the way. Now, perhaps your physical location: maybe you're a mobile designer, you don't have an actual physical location, you can leave this off. If you do, pop it in over here. The great thing about this is when your customers click on the address when your website is live, it will automatically take them to Google Maps for directions. Under "Update Social Links," just go ahead and pop in our various social media platforms. Our business is active on icons, will be displayed at the top, as well as at the bottom of your website.

Now, if you have a logo, head on over to the next section, "Update Logo." Browse your device to upload it. If you don't have a logo, I recommend you check out hatchful.com or canva.com. I've personally tried both myself; they're really great for small businesses if you don't have a huge budget and you're just starting out. If you want to make amendments to your logo, crop it, rotate it, zoom in, add filters, frames, click on the pencil. Otherwise, click on Save. Here on the right is where you can make your logo bigger and smaller. If you'd like to change the colors on your website, click on the paint bucket in the bottom right-hand corner. Go through the various color palettes available. No color coding needed; you can literally just select a color palette that is suitable for your business and goes with your branding.

Now, if you'd like to change the images and the buttons, make it a little bit more personalized to your business, click on "Update Section" for each section you want to change. Over here, I'm going to head on over to "Update Image." This is where you can browse your device to upload your own images, if you have. Or search through the photo library. There's hundreds of images to choose from. You can play around with the keywords a little bit and just choose various keywords to see what images pop up for you to use. You also now have the options to connect your Instagram account. We've recently introduced this feature. Automatically pull in all your Instagram photos with a click of a button instead of uploading them individually. Under "Update Actions" is where you can change those buttons. The button currently says "Schedule Consultation." You can change that, and you can link your buttons to various places, as well as uploading even a PDF file with more information, your rates, certain services.

In the last section, we have a lead generation form. Your customers can reach out to you. You can keep track of all your leads in your Mighty Sites dashboard. Also, get notified by your registered email address when you have a new lead. If you have a custom domain for your business, you can click on this yellow button at the bottom to connect it. You also have the options to now purchase a custom domain by clicking on that button as well. This will make your website look even more trustworthy and stand out from all your competitors. I really hope this tutorial was helpful in building a website on the Mighty Sites platform for your landscape designing business. Really wishing you and your business Mighty success!
