How to Create a Basic Website for Your Equestrian Store - SUPER EASY! [VIDEO]

Once you join the platform, the first thing it's going to ask you to do at the top is to search for your market. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, people with various side hustles, and we are adding more markets every single week. So, I'm gonna go ahead and head to the top very quickly and search for my market. Let's go ahead and do that. Awesome! There is my template over there. I'm now going to go ahead and select that one. Great!

Let's feed Mighty Sites some basic details about our equestrian store, so it can generate a simple website for us. I'm gonna go ahead and put in my company name as well as my state's region. And, it doesn't quite matter where in the world your equestrian store is located. You can enjoy the Marty SAT service. We have happy users from all around the globe. Let's go ahead and click on continue and let Mighty Sites work its magic and create a simple website for my business. And there you have it! It's literally done it in not even a minute. Let's take a closer look at what it's come up with together.

Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is we've pre-written all the content for you as a guideline. Of course, we've also pre-selected all the images as well. They're all really high quality, as you can see. They're completely free for you to use if you wish to keep them. However, I'm sure you've got some amazing images that you'd like to showcase on your Mighty Sites website, of all the different products that you stock, maybe of yourself in equestrian action.

So, I'm going to go ahead and show you today how to make some minor amendments. You don't need to know coding to use the platform. You don't need to be a web professional, and you certainly don't need to hire someone with web development skills either. You can do this all yourself!

So, I'm going to go ahead and scroll to the top and click on the first section. I'm now going to go ahead and put in my company email address, as well as my phone number. I want to make sure that box underneath the email address is ticked to display my email address on my website. Let's go ahead and pop our phone number in. And, that is click-to-call, by the way. Our address, let's pop that in, our physical location. The great thing about it is, when your website's live and your customers click on that address, it automatically will take them to Google Maps.

Let's go ahead and put in our social media platforms our business is active on. Icons for your social channels will be displayed at the top as well as at the bottom of your website. Awesome! Let's go ahead and update our logo. If you don't have a logo yet, I recommend you check out Canva.com. Lots of great free options on their website. The logo's been uploaded. If you want to make some minor amendments, zoom in, crop it, add filters, frames, go ahead and click on the little pencil. If you're happy with your logo, go ahead and click on save. You can make it bigger and smaller on the routes under "Customize Logo". Awesome!

Now, with my resources, we've pre-selected all the colors for you to use throughout your website template. If you want to change it to work with your branding a little bit better, your logo, go ahead and click on the little paint button on the bottom right-hand corner. Go through the various color palettes available for you to use.

Awesome! For each section you want to make amendments, you click on "Upgrade Section" directly underneath that. Head on over to "Update Image". Browse your device and upload your own. Otherwise, search through the photo library. Hundreds of images to choose from. You can play around with the keywords a little bit and see which images pop up. For the content, you can make amendments as well and change it to suit your needs. Buttons or can link to various places. You can click on "Choose Link". You can link to another website, an action, or perhaps upload a PDF file with your current catalog, or maybe current promotions and offers you have running.

Awesome! It looks fantastic. Very happy with it. I don't really want to make many changes. At the bottom over here, you can click on "Upgrade Section" and put in your trading hours for your business, so it's displayed on your website for your customers' convenience. If you have a custom domain for your business, go ahead and click on "Connect Your Domain". So, I already have a domain. Go through the various steps and linking it. If you don't have a domain yet and you want one to make your website look even more professional, go ahead and click on "Order New Domain", because you can purchase your custom domain by the Mighty Sites platform.
