How to Create a Simple Interior Designer Website - FAST & EASY! [VIDEO TUTORIAL]

Building a website for your interior designer business doesn't have to be complicated, and it doesn't have to be expensive either. Great! Let's tell Mighty Sites a few basic details about our business. Our business names, and our city, and our state or region. And it doesn't matter where in the world you operate your business from. You can enjoy the Mighty Sites servers. We have happy users from all around the globe. Once you've clicked on continue, Mighty Sites will automatically generate a simple website for your business and bring up this popup over here showing you how to customize your new website in under 30 seconds. For now, I'm going to be closing that off because today I'm going to be showing you the ropes. Let's get started.

The beauty of Mighty Sites is we've actually pre-written all the content for you as a guideline, of course. We've also pre-selected all the images as well. They're all really high quality, as you can see. They don't look like they've been taken on a mobile phone. And the great thing about it is they're completely free for you to use. However, I'm sure you've got some of your own amazing images of all the beautiful homes you've designed the interior. Maybe you'd like to make one or two amendments to the this content. Perhaps you don't offer all these services. You want to make the sections a little bit more personalized to your business. You don't need to know any sort of website coding or be a web professional, have any of those skills, and you certainly don't need to hire anyone to help you with this either. You can literally do it all yourself. So let's get cracking. I'm going to click on the first section at the top, pop in my email address over here. I want to make sure that that is visible for my customers to see. So I'm going to go ahead and check that box. Phone number is click to call, and your physical location. Maybe your mobile, you don't have an office, but if you want to put your address, physical location, pop it in over here.

When your website's live, your customers can actually click on that address and be taken directly to Google Maps. And update Social Links. You can put in the various social media platforms your business is active on, put in the links over here, and the icons will be displayed at the top as well as at the bottom of your Mighty Sites. Website. For the next section, go ahead and upload your business logo if you have one. If you want to make SL Amendment SE crop it, rotate it, add filters or frames, click on that pencil. Otherwise, save it over here. On the right is where we can make our logo bigger and smaller to fit into that section a little bit better if you'd like to change the colors on your Mighty Sites website, click on that paint bucket bottom right-hand corner, go through the various color palettes available for you to use. There's so many different ones to choose from. Awesome! For each section we'd like to make amendments to, all you need to do is click on update section directly underneath it, head on over to update image. This is where you can browse your device and upload your own images or search through the photo library. There's hundreds and thousands of free images to choose from, all really high quality.

You also have the option to connect your Instagram account with a click of a button if you want to. Let's go back and check that out if you have a business profile that is. And update action is where we have those call to action buttons. You can change the text on the buttons and where they link to. You can even upload a PDF file, maybe with a brochure or catalog or maybe like a little bit of more information about your business in PDF formats. In the last section, we have a lead generation form where your customers and potential customers can reach out to you. Keep track of all your leads and your Mighty Sites dashboard. You also get notified by your registered email when you have a new lead from that form. If you have a custom domain, you can connect it. All you need to do is click on that connect your domain button at the bottom. If you don't have a domain yet, we really recommend that you get one to make your website look even more professional, trustworthy, stand out from all your competitors. Go ahead and click that button as well. You actually have the option to purchase a custom domain via our platform as well.
