How to Create a Simple Website for Your Embroidery Shop - SUPER EASY! [VIDEO]

Once you join the platform, the very first thing it is going to ask you to do is just search for your market. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, people with various side hustles, and we are adding more markets every single week. So I'm gonna go ahead and search for my market. Awesome, there it is over there. I'm now going to go ahead and select that option. Awesome, let's go ahead and put in our company details as well as our city and our state's origin, and it doesn't matter where in the world your business is located. You can enjoy the Mighty Sites Service. We do have happy customers from all around the world.

I'm not going to go ahead and change the type of business from restaurant to resell, click on continue, and let Mighty Sites work its magic and create a simple website for my business. And there you have it, it's literally done it in not even a minute. Let's take a closer look at what it's come up with together.

Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is, we've pre-written all the content for you as a guideline. Of course, we've also pre-selected all the images as well. They're all really high quality. They're completely free for you to use. However, I'm sure you've got some amazing images of all the embroidery designs you have, perhaps um, done, or once you showcase some of your supplies on your Mighty Sites website, you can do that. You can change the images, you can change the content as well. It's super simple. You don't need to know coding at all, you don't need to be a web developer, any student, you don't need to hire a professional either.

So let me give it a go and show you how to do exactly that. I'm going to click on the first section at the top and go ahead and put in my company email address. I want to make sure that email address is displayed on my website, so I'm going to go ahead and tick the box. I'm now going to go ahead and pop my phone number in, which is click to call by the way. Let's go ahead and put in our physical location, our street address. The great thing about their physical location, when your website is live and your customers click on that address, it will automatically take them to Google maps to get directions when they click on the address. Awesome, let's go ahead and update our social media platforms that we are active on. Icons for your social channels will be displayed at the top of your website as well as at the bottom, so customers can easily give you a follow.

Awesome, let's move along and update our logo. If you don't have a logo yet for your business, I recommend you check out canva.com, lots of great free options on the website. Logo's been uploaded, if you want to make some minor amendments to it, click on the little pencil over it. You can zoom in, crop it, rotate, add filters. If you're happy with it, go ahead and click on save. You can make it bigger and smaller on the right-hand side under customized logo. Now, with Mighty Sites as well, we've pre-selected all the colors for you used throughout your website. If these colors don't quite go with your branding, go ahead and click on the little paint bucket on the bottom right-hand corner, go through the various color palettes available for you to use.

Awesome, for each section that you would like to update, go ahead and click on our update section underneath, head on over to update image, browse your device and upload some of your own. Otherwise, search through the photo library, hundreds of images to choose from, all completely free for you to use. For the contents, if you want to make some amendments, click on update content. All the buttons can link to various places, you can change the wording on them over here, whoops, and go ahead and choose your link. You can link to another website, you can link to an action like click to call, directions, click to email, otherwise, upload a PDF file, which is a great option for a brochure or catalog of your business.

Awesome, look at that, it looks absolutely fantastic. Very happy with my websites. And the last section over here is where you can put your trading hours by clicking on update hours, putting them in, and they will be displayed in the section at the bottom, so customers know your trading times. If you have a custom domain for your business, go ahead and click on connect your domain, so I already have a domain. If you don't have a domain just yet, and you want your website to look even more professional, click on our ones a new domain because you can now purchase your domain via the Mighty Sites platform.
