How to Create a Simple Website for Your Gift Basket Store - EASY! [VIDEO DEMO]

Once you've registered your account for your free trial, the very first thing it's going to ask you to do is to search for your markets. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, people with various side hustles. We are adding more markets every single week. So I'm gonna head to the top and I'm gonna go ahead and search for my Market: gift basket store. There it is, over there. Now I'm going to go ahead and select that option.

Awesome! As you start, input a few basic details about our gift basket store so it can generate a simple website for our business. I'm going to go ahead and put in my city and Master's origin. And it doesn't matter where in the world your gift basket store is located, you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. Let's go ahead and change this type of business from restaurant to retail, click on continue, and let Mighty Sites work its magic and creates a simple website for our websites. And there you have it. It's literally done it in not even a minute. Let's take a closer look at what it's come up with together.

The beauty of Mighty Sites is we've pre-written all the content for you as a guideline. Of course, we've also pre-selected all the images as well. They are all really high quality as you can see, and they're completely free for you to use. However, I'm sure you've got some amazing images of all the different gift baskets you've got in store. You want to display them on your website, maybe make one or two changes to the content. You can do that, it's super simple. So today, that's exactly what I'm going to be showing you.

I'm going to be walking my way through each section, just giving you a little bit of a look and feel of how the platform works, how simple it is to use. You don't need to know coding, you don't need to be a web developer, and as I said, you don't need Hardware professional to help you with this either. So let's get cracking.

I'm going to click on the first section at the top and go ahead and put in my company email address. Awesome! I'm gonna go ahead and tick this box to display my email address on my website. Phone number, I've now popped in. That is click to call by the way. I'm now going to go ahead and put in my physical location, my Streets address. The great thing about that physical location, when your website is live, it will automatically take your customers, when they click on it, to Google maps to get directions to your physical location.

Let's head on over to update Social Links under here, so you can put in the various social media platforms your business is active on. Icons will be displayed at the top as well as the bottom of your website. I'm now going to go ahead and upload my logo for my website. If you don't have a logo just yet, Mighty Sites will literally just display your business name on the left-hand corner, and it still looks really great and professional.

Logo has been uploaded. If you want to crop it to fit in the section a little bit better, maybe add a filter, zoom in, rotate, you can click on the little pencil over it. Otherwise, I'm going to go ahead and click on save. You can make it bigger and smaller, your logo on the right here, awesome!

Now with Mighty Sites as well, we pre-selected the colors for you. If they don't quite grow with your branding, your business cards, and you want to change it, no color coding necessary. Go ahead and click on the little paint bucket on the bottom right-hand corner. Awesome! Let's go ahead and change that, lovely.

Now for each section you want to update, click on the update section button just underneath it. Head on over to update image, you can browse your device and upload your own images. Otherwise, search through the photo library, hundreds of images to choose from, and they're all completely free to use. Play around with the keywords a little bit and just see what pops up, what images are available. So that one looks pretty good, so I'm going to go ahead and reselect that one to fit into that section better. Awesome!

Because you don't ever type the contents now, over here for each section, you can change the content to suit your business needs. Buttons can all link to various places, and you can change the wording on the buttons. You can link to another website if need be, or you can link to an action like click to call, directions, click to email. Otherwise, you could upload a PDF file of your catalog or your current promotions and offers.

Awesome! It's coming together so nicely. Again, for each section you want to make amendments to, like this about section, go ahead and click on upload section and make the necessary changes. Now with this last section over here is where you can put in the trading hours for your business. Go ahead and click on our bed, always put in the various trading hours, and they will be displayed on your website for your customers’ convenience.

If you have a custom domain for your business, go ahead and click on connect your domain. So I already have a domain, go through the various steps and linking it. If you don't have a domain, you'd say I want a new domain because you can now purchase your domain via the Mighty Sites platform.
