How to Create a Simple Website for Your Sportswear Store - EASY! [VIDEO TUTORIAL]

Thanks for joining me in this video today. If you've got a sportswear store and you want to create a website for your business, then keep your eyes peeled on this video. Now, once you've registered a free trial, the first thing it's going to ask you to do is to search for your market. At the top, we have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, and people with various side hustles. So I'm going to head to the top, and I'm going to go ahead and search for my market, sportswear store. There it is, over there. I'm now going to go ahead and select their templates. Awesome!

Mighty Sites has a few basic details about our business so it can generate a simple website for us. I'm going to go ahead and put in my city and my state's origin here, and it doesn't matter where in the world your business is located, you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the globe. Let's go ahead and change this type of business from restaurant to retail and click on continue. Let Mighty Sites work its magic, and look at that, it's literally done it in not even a minute.

Let's take a closer look together. Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is we've pre-written all the content for you, as a guideline of course. We've also pre-selected all the images as well. They all really high quality as you can see, they're completely free to use. However, I'm sure you've got some amazing images of all the different sportswear products you stock in your store, and you want to showcase them on your website. Maybe make one or two amendments to their content that was pre-written, you can do that.

So today, that's exactly what I'm going to be showing you. I'm going to be making my way through each section very quickly, just to give you a little bit of a look and feel of how the platform works, how easy it is to use. You don't need to know coding, you don't need to be a web developer, and you certainly don't need to hire a web professional either.

I'm going to click on the first section at the top, go ahead and put in my company email address as well as my phone number. Phone number is click to call by the way. I want to make sure this email address is checked, this box over here, to display my email address on my website. Awesome! Let's go ahead and put in our physical location, our street's address. When your website is live, your customers will be able to check out on that address on the top left-hand corner and be taken directly to Google maps to get directions to your physical location.

Let's head on over to update social links over here. You can put in the various social media platforms your business is active on. Icons will be displayed at the top as well as the bottom of your website. Your customers can easily give you a follow, get some engagement going. Let's move on to the next section, update logo. If you don't have a logo yet, I recommend you check out canva.com, lots of free great options on the website.

Awesome, logo has been uploaded. Let's go ahead and click on save. If you want to crop the logo, add some filters, decorate a frame, zoom in for example, click on the little pencil. You can make it bigger and smaller on the right over here as well. Now, with martisats as well, we pre-selected all the colors used throughout your website for you. Maybe the colors don't quite well with your signage, your business cards, your logo, you want to change it, no color coding necessary. Click on the little paint bucket on the bottom right-hand corner, go through the various color palettes available for you to use. Awesome!

Let's head on over to the next section now. Over here, you can update the image for the section over here by browsing your device, uploading one of your own. Otherwise, search through the photo library, hundreds of images to choose from, all completely free to use. For each section, click on update content to change the pre-written copy, button current uses contact us today. You can link those buttons to various places. Go ahead and click on choose link. You can link to another website if necessary, you can link to an action like electrical directions, click to email, otherwise upload a PDF file maybe with your current promotions and offers or a brochure.

For each section, go ahead and click on the update section button underneath to make the necessary changes and make it work for your business. Over here in the last section, if you click on this one, update section, you can put your business hours over here so your customers know what hours you are trading.

Now, if you have a custom domain for your business, go ahead and click on the yellow connect to your domain button, say I already have a domain. If you're struggling, there is a YouTube tutorial available on our channel. If you don't have a custom domain yet, go ahead and click on our once a new domain because you can purchase your domain by the Mighty Sites dashboard.

Over here in your mighty dashboard is where you can find the leads as well, from that form at the bottom I've just shown you.
