How to Create a Website for Your Filipino Restaurant - SUPER EASY!

Today I'm going to be showing you how to use our platform to build a website for your business. Now, once you've joined the platform, registered for a free trial, the very first thing is going to ask you to do is to search for your markets. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, and people with various side hustles. So I'm gonna go ahead and search for my market, Filipino restaurant. There it is over there. I'm now going to go ahead and select that template, also a few basic details about our restaurant so it can generate a simple website for our business.

I'm gonna go ahead and put in my company name as well as Master C and my space or region. Now it doesn't matter where in the world your restaurant is located, you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the globe. Let's leave the type of business as restaurants and click on continue and let Mighty Sites work its magic and create a simple website for my small business. And there you have it. It's literally done it in not even a minute.

So let's take a closer look at what it's come up with together. Now the beauty of Mighty Sites, as we pre-written all the content for you as a guideline. Of course, we've also pre-selected all the images as well. They all really high quality as you can see, they're completely free to for you to use, and they look absolutely delicious as well. I'm sure you've got your own images of all the amazing meals you're serving up. You want to showcase them on your website, maybe make one or two amendments to their contents, so today that's exactly what I'm going to be showing you.

It's super simple, you don't need to know coding, you don't need to be a web developer, and you system you don't need to hire any sort of web professional to help you with this either. So let's get cracking. I'm going to click on the first section at the top. I'm going to go ahead and quickly pop in my email address over here. Um, I want to make sure this box is ticked to display my email address on my website. Let's go ahead and pop that phone number in, and that is click to call by the way.

I'm now going to go ahead and put in my physical location, my Streets address. Now the great thing about that physical location, when your website is live and your customers click on it, so it will automatically take them to Google maps to get directions. Over here under upgrade Social Links is where you can put in the various social media platforms your business is active on. Icons full of social channels will be displayed at the top as well as the bottom of your websites.

On to the next section, let's go ahead and upload our logo. Now if you don't have a logo yet for your business, I recommend you check out canva.com. Lots of great free options on the websites. Logo's been uploaded. If you want a crop it to fit into the section a little bit better at filters, frames, decorated, zoom in, rotates, go ahead and click on the little pencil over to make minor edits. I'm now going to click on save. You can make it bigger and smaller easily on the right. Awesome, let's move along.

Now with Mighty Sites as well, we're pre-selected all the colors for you. If you want to change it to go with your logo and your branding a little bit better, you don't need to know color coding. All you need to do is click on the little paint button in the bottom right-hand corner, go through the various color palettes available for you to use. Awesome, let's go ahead and select one. Great, let's move along.

Now for each section that you want to update, go ahead and click on upgrade section and head over to update image. Over here you can browse your own images, browse your device, upload some of your own meals, otherwise search through the photo library. Hundreds of images to choose from, all completely free to use. You can play around with the little keywords a little bit and see what images pop up.

Now for each section for the contents, click on update contains. You will notice you have buttons that are call to actions. So for this one, it currently says order online. Maybe you don't even offer online ordering system, you want it to just say view our menu or view um options or something like that. So let's go ahead and quickly change that, view our menu. There we go, let's go ahead and choose the link for that button to link to. You can link to another website, maybe you do offer online ordering system that's where you can link it to, otherwise you can link to an action. But for this one, I'm going to go ahead and upload a PDF file of my menu, so your customers can have a look at your menu before visiting your restaurant and just see what your menu options are. Awesome.

Let's go ahead and just take a look under the section over here is where you can put your trading hours in for your business, and they will be displayed in this section. Go ahead and put in the different trading hours for each day, click on Save hours and they will be displayed in that section.

Remember for each section you want to update, click on update section and make the necessary changes to the images and content to suit your business. Now if you have a custom domain for your business, go ahead and click on connect to domain. So I already have a domain, set it up. If you don't have a domain, you've maybe recently launched your business, click on our way to new domain because you can now purchase your domain find the mighty sites platform.
