Once you join the platform, the first thing it's going to ask you to do at the top is to search for your market. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, and people with various side hustles. Let's head to the top, and let me search for my market: watch store. Awesome, let's go ahead and select a template. Great! Little Mighty Sites with a few basic details about our watch store so it can generate a simple website for us. I'm going to go ahead and put in my company name as well as my city and my state's origin. It doesn't matter where in the world your watch store is located; you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the globe. Let's go ahead and change the type of business from restaurant to retail and click on continue.

And look at that, Mighty Sites has literally generated a simple website for my watch store in not even a minute. Let's take a closer look together. Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is we've pre-written all the content for you as a guideline. Of course, and we pre-selected all the images. They all are really high quality, as you can see, and they're completely free to use. However, I'm sure you've got some of your own awesome images of all the beautiful watches you stock in your store, and you want to showcase them on your website. Maybe make one or two changes to that content that was pre-written for you. You can do that. So today, that's exactly what I'm going to be showing you. I'm going to be making my way through each section, from the top to the bottom, giving you a little bit of a look and feel of how the platform works and how simple it is to use. You don't need to be a web professional. You don't need to hire someone to help you with this, and you certainly don't need to know any coding. So let's get cracking, making some amendments.

I'm going to make my way to the top and click on the first section over here. I'm going to go ahead and put in my company email address as well as my phone number. I want to make sure this box is picked to display my email address on my website. Let's go ahead and put in a physical location, our street's address, if we have one, as well as our postal code. Great! Our physical location is now displayed on our website. When our customers click on it, it will automatically take them to Google maps to get directions to our physical location.

Let's head on over to update Social Links. Over here, you can put in the various social media platforms that your business is active on. Icons will be displayed at the top as well as the bottom of your Mighty Sites website so your customers can easily give you a follow, get some engagement going, and see what your business is up to. If you have a logo, go ahead and browse your device and upload it. If you don't have a logo, I do recommend you check out canva.com; there's a few free, great options on the website.

Logo has been uploaded. I'm going to click on this little pencil so I can crop my logo so it fits a little bit better into that section. You can rotate it, zoom in, add frames, decorate it, filter it, flip it, etc. Awesome, the logo has now been uploaded again. Let's go ahead and click on Save. Now that it's been uploaded, we can make it bigger and smaller, but I think that sizing is perfect, so I'm leaving it exactly the way it is.

Now, with Mighty Sites as well, we've pre-selected all the colors used throughout your website for you. Basically, we wanted to make it as easy as possible when it comes to launching a website for your watch store. Maybe these colors don't quite go with your branding, your logo, your business cards, and you want to change it. Click on the little paint bucket on the bottom right-hand corner. You don't need to know color coding, and go through the various color palettes available for you to use. I'm quite spoiled for choice; I'm not entirely sure which colors to go with. That one looks really great, as does the gray, so I'm going to go ahead and save that for now. I can change it at a later stage if I feel the need.

Let's head on over to update the image. Over here, you can either browse your device and upload your own images or search through the photo library. The Mighty Sites platform has hundreds of images to choose from. When you search for "watch store", Mighty Sites will automatically pull up relevant images. But you can always play around with the terms a bit, search for terms like "Rolex", "luxury watches", or "timepieces" to see what pops up. There are loads of suitable images. So, I'm going to try out a few, see how they look on my site. Let's check out a couple of options. That one looks fantastic. I'm going to ensure it's saved and then head over to update content.

Over here, you can tweak the title, subtitle, and any other text to better suit your business needs. The button currently says "Contact Us Today", which I'm going to leave as is. However, you can change its function. Maybe it can link to another website where you have an online store or to an action like "click to call" or "get directions". You can even link it to a PDF file, which can be handy if you want to showcase a catalog of your watch collection or share a monthly promotion with your customers.

We've now made our way to the "About Us" section. This is where you can detail the history of your watch store, perhaps talk about how it was established, the values your store upholds, and any unique selling points. Are you a family-run business? Do you specialize in antique watches? Or maybe you are known for the exclusivity of certain watch brands? All of these details give your customers a better understanding of what you offer and help to build trust.

Next, we come to the "Services" section. This is where you can outline the different services you offer. Do you offer watch repair or customization? Maybe you also have a rental service for luxury watches for special occasions. This section is crucial for letting your clients know the breadth and depth of your offerings.

Lastly, if you have a custom domain for your watch store, make sure to connect it to your Mighty Sites website. Having a custom domain adds a touch of professionalism to your business. If you don't yet have a domain, the good news is that Mighty Sites offers domain purchasing services, making it a one-stop-shop for all your website needs.
