Today, I'm going to be showing you how to use the Mighty Sites platform to build a simple website for your conference center. Once you join the platform, the first thing it's going to ask you is just to search for your market. At the top, we have hundreds of different markets to choose from for various small businesses. We are adding more markets every single week, so let's head to the top and search for our market, Conference Center. There it is, over there. Now, I'm going to go ahead and select that template. Great, let's tell Mars some basic details about our conference center so it can generate a simple website for us. I'm going to go ahead and pop in my city and my state or region, and it doesn't matter where in the world your business is located, you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the globe.
Once you click on "Continue," that will allow Mighty Sites to automatically generate a website for you with information you've just put in, and there you have it. It's literally done, so in a couple of seconds, let's take a closer look at what it's come up with together. Now, the beauty of Martys is, we've actually pre-written all the content for you as a guideline. Of course, we've also pre-selected all the images as well. They're all really high quality, as you can see. They're completely free for you to use as well. However, I'm sure if you've got some of your own images of your facilities, the different facilities your conference center offers, and you want to showcase it on your website, maybe let people see what facilities they'd be hiring for their conferences and events, you want to showcase it on your website. Maybe make one or two amendments to this content. Perhaps you don't offer all those services. I'm going to be showing you exactly how to do that today. It's super simple. You don't need to know coding or be a web professional in any kind of way, and you certainly don't need to hire a web professional either. You can literally do this all yourself. I'm going to show you how. Let's get started.
I'm going to go ahead and click on the first section at the top, pop in my email address over here. I want to make sure that that is visible on my website, so let's go ahead and tick the box. Excellent, let's pop in our phone number over here. That is click-to-call, by the way, and our address, our physical location. The great thing about it is when your website's live, your customers can actually click on that address and be taken directly to Google Maps for directions. And update social links is where you can put in the various social media platforms your business is active on. Icons will be displayed at the top, as well as at the bottom of your website.
Now, if you have a business logo, head on over to the next section, browse your device to upload it. Once your logo has been uploaded, you can click on this pencil over it to crop it, rotate it, add filters or frames. Otherwise, once you click on "Save," you can make the logo bigger and smaller, here on the right. Now, with Mighty Sites as well, we've pre-selected the colors for you. If you'd like to change them, go ahead and click on the paint bucket, bottom right-hand corner, go through the various color palettes available for you to use.
For each section, you want to make amendments to make it a little bit more personalized to your business, click on "Update section," directly underneath it. Head on over to "Update images." This is where you can browse your device, upload your own images, search through that photo library, hundreds of high-quality images to choose from, very professional-looking. Otherwise, you have the options to connect your Instagram account with a click of a button, automatically pull in all those images if you have a profile. And "Update action" is where we can change those buttons, the "Quit Action" buttons, the text on them, as well as where they link to, even uploading a PDF file, which is a great option to showcase more of your facilities, maybe your various rates for hiring out your conference center.
In the last section, we have a lead generation form. Customers can reach out to you here. Keep track of all your leads in your Mighty Sites dashboard. If you have a custom domain for your business, go ahead and click on that yellow button at the bottom, connect your domain. If you don't have a domain, you really want one to make your website look even more professional, trustworthy, stand out from all your competitors, go ahead and click on that button as well. You actually have the option to purchase a custom domain by the Mighty Sites platform as well.
