So all we need to do to get started is sign in and create a free trial. You can click on launch, or if you're new to the site, you can also click on the contractor and then pick the type of contractor you are. So I'm just deciding on a general contractor here. And then that'll bring you to set up the contractor website template for your business. So if I go in here, I will go over to the contractor. I'm just going to pick the general contractor website template. And then all I do is put in my business name to get started. So I'll put in, let's see, l and D construction. Click continue. You can see that I can update my location if any of this information's inaccurate. It's pulled directly from Google, so hopefully, it's all accurate about your business.

Making Edits To The Contractor Template

But it's super easy to do if you need to change hours. Let's say you want to say we're open on Saturdays and, you know, eight 30 until 7:00 PM. You can do that. And then if you're, you know, if that was by mistake, you just put it back closed. So it's super easy to edit your hours or location information. If it all looks good, you click next. And then this is where you get to see your contractor website template. So it's going to load.

But it's super easy to edit. So I go in here, I click on Update, and I can update any of the content in any section.

Editing The Contractor Website Template

So let's say, Hey, I don't, I don't do this. I don't do air conditioner installation or cabinet re-facing, nor do carpentry ceiling repair. Let's say I do door repair or door installation. I don't do these things for simplicity, but I do the services at the top. I just deleted them. Click save. There we go. Now my list of services is up to date. Again, if I want to change this picture, let's say I want a different picture. I just clicked here on Browse.

I can select a different picture from my computer or phone and upload it, and then it's ready to go. If I want to change, let's say I want to add my social media. So let's say I post good pictures on Twitter or Facebook. Let me go over here and pull the Mighty Sites Twitter account, so you can see that slash And again, there's a free trial with this, so you can check it out and see what you think. But if I go back over here, let's say you'll notice there are no social media at all. But then, if I paste in, now I paste in my Twitter link, and it's linked. So now, any of my social media, my Instagram, my LinkedIn, my Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, do it right there.

Click save, close it out. And now that's linked there too. Let's say that I want to change any text here too. I can. I can add, you know, 15 years of experience, right? So I can add in any details I want, click on, update that section, and type it in. Let's say I want them to call me if I want to change this contact. When they click on that, I can change it. Clicking to call my phone number will automatically populate, confirm, and save it. Now, if I close that, you'll see when I hover over it down here on the left, it'll call me, call my phone at my business. If somebody comes to my website and sees it so I can update any of the links here, I can add my logo for my contractor business.
