How to Make a Simple Financial Planner Website [VIDEO BLOG]

Today, I'm going to be showing you how to use the Mighty Sites platform to build a simple website for your financial planning services. Once you join the platform, the first thing it's going to ask you to do at the top is to search for your markets. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from, for various small businesses, currently over 900, and we are adding more markets every single week. So let's head to the top, search for our Market, financial planner. I'm now going to go ahead and select that template. Great, let's tell m a few basic details about our business, pop in your company name and your city and your state or region, and it doesn't matter where in the world your business is located, you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the globe. Once you click on continue, multi sites will automatically generate a simple website for your business with the information you've just put in, and then bring up this popup showing you how to customize your new website. For now, I'm going to go ahead and close that off because today I'm going to be showing you the ropes.

The beauty of Mighty Sites is we've pre-written all the content for you as a guideline, of course. We've also pre-selected all the images as well, they're all really high quality as you can see. They're completely free for you to use as well. However, I'm sure you've got some of your own images you'd like to showcase on your website, maybe make one or two amendments to this content that was preist for you. You can absolutely do so, it's super simple. You don't need to know any coding or be a web professional in any kind of way, you certainly don't need to hire anyone to help you with this either. You can literally do it all yourself. So let's get started. I'm going to click on the first section at the top, click on update section, pop in my email address over here. I want to make sure that that is visible to my customers, so I'm going to go ahead and check that box, show Emil on start, there it is. Phone number, click to call, and address, physical location. Maybe you are an online business, or you visit your customers at their residence or something along those lines. You don't have a physical location, but if you do, you can put it in over here. The great thing about it is when your website's live, your customers can actually click on that address on the left-hand corner, be taken directly to Google Maps.

Under update Social Links, is where we can put in the various social media platforms our business is active on. Icons will be displayed at the top as well as at the bottom of your website. If you have a business logo, head on over to the next section of update logo, browse your device to upload it. Once your logo's been uploaded, you can click on that pencil to crop it, rotate it, add filters or frames, and here on the right is where you can make your logo bigger and smaller to fit into that section better. Now with my sit as well, we pre-selected the colors for you. If you'd like to change them, you don't need to know any color coding at all, click on that paint back at bottom right and Corner, go through the various color palettes available for you to use, choose one that suits your business's best, and your branding.

For each section you'd like to make amendments to, click on that white button at the bottom of it saying update section, head on over to update image. This is where you could browse your device and upload your own images, or search through the photo library. As you can see, there's hundreds of free images to choose from, over 2,000 over here, and they're all completely free for you to use, they don't look like they've been taken on a mobile phone, very high quality. You also have the option to connect your Instagram account with a click of a button, automatically pull in all those images. And update actions, where we can change those qu action buttons, the text on the buttons, and where they're linked to. If

you have an appointment scheduling app and you take bookings, you can link to it on another website of you, put in the URL. You can also upload a PDF file, maybe with a brochure with more information of your rates and services, and how you can help your customers.

And the last section, we have a lead generation form where your customers can easily reach out to you. Keep track of all your leads in your Mighty Sites dashboard. If you have a custom domain, go ahead and click on that yellow button at the bottom, connect your domain. If you don't have a custom domain, you really want one to make your website look even more professional, trustworthy, stand out from all your competitors in the business, click on that button as well. You actually have the option to purchase a customer domain via the Mighty Sites platform as well.
