Once you've joined the platform, it's going to go ahead and ask you to search your markers. Over here, we have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, and people with side hustles. Let's head to the top and search for our markets. I'm now going to search for 'candy store'—there it is, over there. I'm now going to select their templates. Great, so let's tell Mighty Sites has a few basic details about our candy store, so I can work its magic and create a one-page website for us. Let's go ahead and put in our company name. I'm gonna call this Rochelle's Sweet Creations—love the sound of that. Let's go ahead and put a narcity and our region. Now, it doesn't matter where in the world you're located; you can use the Mighty Sites server, so we have happy customers from all around the globe. Let's go ahead and change the type of business from restaurant to retail, and click on 'continue'.

Great, how can customers get in touch with us? I'm gonna go ahead and put in our phone number over here, and our email address. Let's move along, click on 'continue'. Okay, where is our candy store located? Let's put in our street's address and our postal code. Let's click on 'continue'.

Great, let's get our hours set up. What time does our candy store open on a Monday? I'm gonna say we open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Seems pretty standard. I'm now going to say we open on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and a Sunday. We open seven days a week, for all your candy needs. I'm now going to click on 'continue'.

Great, let's review our hours and our location—everything looks good. I'm now going to click on 'next', and let Mighty Sites start to do its thing and work its magic. And there you have it, it's literally generated a one-page website for me in less than a minute. Let's take a closer look.

Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is, we've pre-written all the content for you, we've pre-selected all the images, they're all very high quality, as you can see, and completely free to use. There's no licenses needed for them. However, if you have your own images of your candy creations, and you want to make a few amendments to this content, that's completely okay. You don't need to be a web developer, you don't need to hire a website developer; there's no coding needed for any of this, it's super simple. So I'm going to walk you through each section from the top to the bottom, work my way through, and just so you can have a little bit of a look and feel of how the service works, how easy it is to use. You don't need to be super tech-savvy either. So I'm now going to click an update section at the top and click on 'show email on site'. My email address is displayed in the top right-hand corner, next to my phone number. That is click to call, by the way, so customers can easily get in touch with us. Our address is displayed in the top left-hand corner, and a great thing about it is, when your customers click on that link, it will directly take them to Google maps to get directions to get the candy at your physical location. I'm now going to click on 'Save' and head to update Social Links. Over here, I'm going to pop in our Instagram page and our Twitter page, so feel free to give us a follow. Let us know how you're enjoying the Mighty Sites service; we'd love to hear your feedback. There is an option for LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook as well. It's click save and move along. Icons are now displayed over there.

Great, latest update section, and head to update logo. Now, if you don't have a logo yet, it will just display your name, and it still looks really professional. If you don't have a logo, and you don't have a huge budget, I do recommend you check out canva.com. There are few free, great options for candy store; I personally have looked at it myself, that you can amend. So go check it out; otherwise, if you do, have un-brows from your device and upload it over here.

Awesome, awesome, I've just click save on my logo, and it's now displayed over there. You can make it bigger and smaller, to suit your needs. I'm going to make it slightly bigger, and there you have it, just close. Great, so now, perhaps the colors used throughout your Mighty Sites page that have been pre-selected for you, there's blue; perhaps it doesn't work for your branding, perhaps on your signage, on your logo, to completely different color. You don't need to know color coding, all you need to do is click on this paint bucket, and go through the various options available. I want something really black, bright, and stands out for this one, so I'm actually going to choose the pink one. I think, let me have a look at a few more options. That also could work, let's take a look. Yep, I think I'm going to choose that one, click save, and as you can see, it's now used through automatic sauce paid, it really does pop.

As I said before, the content is pre-written for you, and winter is pre-selected, but if you do need some updated, let's head to update section, and I'll walk you through the process. There's heads update image, if you do have some of your candy Creations in a photo form, go ahead and browse from your device, and upload them here; otherwise, search through the photo library, there are hundreds to choose from, and they're all free to use, royalty-free. I'm really spoiled for Choice yeah, there's so many nice pictures, and they all look really delicious. Um, I don't know which one to choose, so I'm going to go back and click on first one over here, I think. Feel free to play around with the terms, so if you want to just search for candy, not candy store, and just see what pops up. Let's select that photo, and save our image selection. That looks amazing, happier thirds here, so update content, change the title, subtitle over here to suit your needs. Button can link to various other places, but I'm gonna say if you are candy menu for this one. I'll have to change this to C our candy selection. Click Save, and there we have it. So the menu over there, the buttons over there, rather, they can click on, and it'll take them to another page where they can view your selection.

I'm going to click Save now, and head down to the bottom. Great, so if you have any testimonials from customers that you'd like to include on your website, it's really great to do that. It builds a lot of trust and credibility, so head to add testimonial, and then we'll give you a few options. I'm going to go ahead and put in a few testimonials that I have saved over here on my notepad. Let's go ahead and select. I'm going to put in, “I love Rochelle's Sweet Creations; their candy is always so fresh and tasty”—love that, and I'll put in the customer's name, but let's put in 'Sarah from Pretoria'. I'm gonna say you can do the same for a few others, and then click Save.

Awesome, so we're almost at the end now, but what you do need to know, is there are a few more additional features with Mighty Sites, that I just wanna take you through quickly. You can add an announcement bar at the top, which is great if you're running any specials, or you have any upcoming events, so feel free to do that, just head to the top, and click on add announcement bar. You can also link your website to a booking service, if you're running any workshops, or you want to book any kids' parties. Just head to the bottom and click on booking service. There's also a click to call button, as I mentioned earlier, where customers can easily get in touch with you. And the last thing I want to mention, is that with Mighty Sites, you can collect emails from your customers. So just head to the bottom, and click on collect emails, and it'll walk you through the process. It's really simple to set up, and it's a great way to keep in touch with your customers and let them know of any upcoming specials, any new candy creations you have in the making, and just to build a community around your brand.
