How to Make a Simple Website for a Car Rental Business [VIDEO TUTORIAL]

Welcome to the Mighty Sites YouTube channel. In this video today, I'm going to be showing you how to use the platform to build a website for your car rental agency. Let's get cracking building a website for our car rental agency. Once you've joined the platform, it's going to go ahead and ask you to search for your market. Over here, there are hundreds of different markets to choose from on the Mighty Sites platform for different small businesses, solopreneurs, and people with side hustles. However, if you don't have a car rental agency and you've randomly stumbled across this video today and you have another small business and you can't quite find it listed here, let us know and we will make sure that we add it. From the head to the top over here, and I'm gonna tap in "car rental agency" and there it is. I'm now going to select that template.

Awesome! Let's tell Mighty Sites how it's a little bit more details about our car rental agency. I'm gonna call this Rochelle's Car Rentals. I'm gonna put my city in and my state's origin. It doesn't matter where you're like. I said you can use the Mighty Sites service; we have happy customers from all around the globe. I'm now going to select my type of business as service and click on continue.

Also, mainly, you have it! Mighty Sites has literally generated a one-page website for me. Let's take a look. The beauty of Mighty Sites is we've curated all the content for you. Pre-selected all the images, we wanted to make it as easy as possible when it comes to launching a one-page website for your small business. However, if the content that's pre-written and pre-selected doesn't quite work for you and your business, perhaps you want to make a few minor adjustments. I'm going to show you today just how easy it is to use the platform. I'm going to work my way from the top to the bottom of each section, walking you through. Just so you can have a little bit of a look and feel of how the service works. You don't need to know coding, you don't need to hire a web developer, you don't need to be a web developer. Gone are the days where you need to know coding to launch a website.

So, let's get started. I'm going to click on update section at the top and tap in my email address. I'm now going to click on "try email" and soft, so it's displayed here on the top right-hand corner. Let's put our phone number in. Again, displayed in the top right, it is click to call, so customers can easily get in touch about their car rental needs. Let's put our email address in here, and our postal code address will be displayed in the top left-hand corner, and customers can click on it and be taken directly to Google Maps for directions to your car rental agency. Let's make sure that's saved and click on update. Social links over here, we can put in our Instagram page, our Twitter page, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook. The icons will be displayed here next to our email address, so customers can easily give us a follow and see what we're up to. Let's make sure that's all saved and click on close.

Now, we've also pre-selected all the colors for you on the website. As I said, we wanted to make it as easy as possible when it comes to launching a one-page website. However, perhaps your car rental agency has completely different branding colors on your business cards throughout your location. You don't need to know any color coding; all you need to do is click on this paint bucket on the bottom right-hand corner and go through the various different options available to suit your needs. Let's have a look at that one. Okay, I quite like that one, so I'm gonna save it.

Let's move along on to the next section. I'm going to click on update section here and head to update logo and browse from my device and upload it. If you don't have a logo yet, that's completely okay. Mighty sites will display your name here, and it still looks really great and professional. If you don't have a logo and you really want one but you don't have a huge budget, do check out canva.com. I've used it myself, and there are some really great free options on there. Logo is now uploaded. Let's click on save. Look at that! I can make it bigger and smaller to suit my needs, but I'm going to make it slightly bigger. I'm happy with that size of it. Let's make sure we've saved and click on close.

Okay, so here we've made our round to the next section. Feel free to change the title and subtitle to suit your needs for your business. Perhaps you don't want that button to say "rent a vehicle". Perhaps you want to say "get directions" to your physical location as well. Go ahead and click on "choose link". You can link to another website, you can link to another part of your Mighty Sites page. A good option is the lead form at the bottom, which I'll show you in just a sec, but I'm going to hit the actions for this one and say "directions". Another great option is a PDF file, so perhaps you have a brochure for your rental agency with your different car fleets available that people can rent. Pop it in a PDF file and upload it here, so customers when they click on that button can take them directly to their PDF file. But for now, I'm going to leave "resurrections" and click on confirm, save my content, or summer screen up right side.

I'm now going to head over to update image, browse from your device, and upload your own, otherwise, search the hundreds of different free options available. Feel free to change the terms a little bit. Perhaps we can try just "car" and see what comes up. Okay, so I'm gonna go ahead, and I really like this one, so I'm gonna select that one and save my image selection. That looks awesome, happy with it! I'm now going to close and move along. Again, here, another section, pre-written content for you, but you can amend it as well as the button to suit your needs. Awesome!

Let's close it up. Over here, we made our way to the about a section. Put in a little bit more details of how your business came to be, how you got into the rental agency industry, how many hours you've been in it. Tell a little bit more information; your customers would love to hear it. Perhaps you offer 24/7 customer support. Put all the details over here. Image can be changed to suit your needs. Go ahead and upload one from your device or search through their photo library. I've just shown you over here; it's another really great image. I'm gonna save that one and close. That looks awesome! We're gonna skip this section; we've already been through it.

Over here, we've made our way to the service section. As I said, Mighty Sites is for different small businesses and solopreneurs, so the content is gonna be a little bit different for each small business. Over here, we can say, "city car", and over here, "small SUV", and over here, "large SUV". Again, go ahead and click on update image, browse your device, or search through the photo library available. I'm gonna use a different search term this time to make it a little bit easier. "city car" and we go, and I really like this image, so I'm gonna select that one and save it.

This section over here is perfect for a review or a testimonial that you might have gotten from one of your customers. Over here, we've made our way to the contact section, so customers can fill in the details, and it will be sent directly to your email address. As you can see, Mighty Sites has generated for you all these pre-written sections that are relevant to your market, so you don't need to start from scratch. You can easily just edit and amend the different sections to suit your needs.
