Once you've joined the platform, the very first thing it's going to ask you to do is to search for your market. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from, and we are adding more markets every single week. So, I'm going to go ahead and search for my market: vocal instructor. Let's go ahead and select their templates. Awesome! Mighty Sites, he starts a few basic details about our business, so it can generate a simple website for us.
Let me go ahead and pop in my city and my state or region, and it doesn't quite matter where in the world you're a vocal instructor, where your business is located. You can enjoy the Mighty Sites service; we have happy users from all around the globe. Let's go ahead and click on "Continue," and let's wait for MartiSauce to work its magic and create a simple website for my business.
And there you have it; it's literally done it in not even 10 seconds with the information I've just popped in. Let's take a closer look at the website it's generated.
Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is, we've pre-written all the content for you as a guideline. Of course, we've also pre-selected all the images; they're all really high quality, as you can see, completely free for you to use as well. However, I'm sure you've got some of your own images you'd like to display on your website, maybe make one or two amendments to their content and the colors, and just make it a little bit more personalized to your business. You can do that today. That's exactly what I'm going to be showing you. You don't need to know any sort of website coding or be a web professional in any sorts, and you certainly don't need to hire anyone to help you with this either. You can do it all yourself, even if you're not that tech-savvy.
So, let's click on the first section at the top. Go ahead and pop in our email address over here, so our customers can easily reach out to us. Let's make sure that email address is visible on our website, so I'm gonna go ahead and check the box. Awesome! Let's pop in our phone number over here, and that is click-to-call, by the way. Our address, physical location: when your website is live, your customers can actually click on that address and be taken directly to Google Maps for directions.
And update social links: you can pop in the various social media platforms your business is active on. Icons will be displayed at the top as well as at the bottom of your website. Under "Update Logo," let's go ahead and browse our device and upload our logo. Once your logo has been uploaded, you can click on this pencil over it, and that's where you can crop it, rotate it, zoom in, add filters, and frames; otherwise, click on "Save." And over here on the right, you can make the logo bigger and smaller.
Awesome! Now, with Mighty Sites, we've pre-selected the colors. If you'd like to change them to suit your business a little bit better, click on the paint buckets; no color coding is needed at all. Go through the various color palettes available for you to use.
Awesome! Now, for each section you want to make amendments to, click on "Update Section" directly underneath that section. Head on over to "Update Image." Now, over here, you can browse your device, upload your own images; otherwise, search through the photo library—hundreds of images to choose from, all completely free to use. Play around with those keywords a little bit until specific images come up that are suitable for your business. We've recently introduced the feature where you can actually connect your Instagram and pull in your images from there to showcase your work.
Go ahead and click on "Connect Your Instagram." I'm now going to go ahead and do that, but this is just for a random business; it's not relating to a vocal instructor. However, I just want you to have a little idea of how this works and how easy it is to do. Awesome, let's launch the editor again.
Mighty Sites has now pulled in those images from our Instagram account, which is great to showcase our work. In this section, it will automatically put all your Instagram images. You can actually change that by clicking on "Update Section." Head on over to "Browse Your Device" if you want to upload some of your own that aren't on your Instagram; otherwise, search through the photo library. Otherwise, you can update the design and the layout if you don't want it to display all of them, maybe just one of those images. Let's go back to "Update Section" over here. Over here is where you can change that button for each section; if there's a button in the section, click on "Update Action." You can change the text on the button as well as where all those buttons are linked to. You can upload a PDF file if necessary or an action like click to call, directions; otherwise, you can even link to another website, if you take calendar bookings, for example, with a third-party website.
Under "Update Content," you can change the content that was pre-written for you for each section. And the last section over here is where your customers can easily reach out to you. All they need to do is put in their details, click on "Send," and you will get notified by your registered email you have a new lead via this form.
If you have a custom domain, go ahead and click "Your Domain"; this is where you can set it up over here. But if you'd like to purchase a domain to make your website look even more professional and personalized, click on the green button "Buy Your Domain."
I really hope this tutorial was helpful in building a website for your vocal instructor business. Really, I wish you and your business Mighty success.
