How to Make a Website For a BBQ Food Truck - EASY! [VIDEO]

Once you've joined the platform, the first thing it's going to ask you at the top is to search for your markets. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, and people with different side hustles. And we are adding more markets every single week. So, I'm gonna head to the top quickly and I'm gonna search for my markets: barbecue food truck. There it is over there. I'm now going to go ahead and select that template.

Mighty Sites by asking a few basic details about our food truck so it can generate a simple website for us. I'm going to go ahead and put in my company name as well as my city and my state of origin. Now, it doesn't matter where in the world you're located; you can use the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the globe. I'm going to go ahead and leave this type of business as "restaurants" and click on continue.

Great! How can our customers get in touch with us? I'm going to pop my phone number in over here, as well as my email address and move along. Great, where is our food truck located? I'm gonna go ahead and put in my street address as well as my postal code. Let's move along.

Let's get our setup. What time do we open on a Monday? I'm going to say we open from 10 a.m, just before the lunchtime rush, until 7 p.m. We also open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Our food truck is closed on Sundays for events. Awesome, let's move along.

Great! What time do you open on a Sunday? I'm going to say we're closed on Sundays. Let's do a quick review; everything looks pretty good to me. If you need to make changes, click on "update location" or "update hours."

Awesome, so look at that. Mighty Sites has literally generated a simple website for my barbecue food truck in not even a minute. Let's take a closer look together.

Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is we've pre-written all the content for you, and we've pre-selected all the images. They all really have quality, as you can see, they're completely free to use, and they look absolutely delicious as well. However, I'm sure you've got your own images of your barbecue food truck and all the delicious meals you're serving up on a daily basis, and you want to make one or two changes to that content that was pre-written for you. You can do that; it's super simple. So today, that's exactly what I'm going to be showing you. I'm going to be walking you through the process, through each section, giving you a little bit of a look and feel of how the service works, how easy it is to use. Now, you don't need to know coding, you don't need to be a web developer, and you certainly don't need to hire a web professional either.

So, let's get cracking. I'm quickly going to click on "update section" at the top, the first section, and make sure my email address is displayed on my website next to my phone number, which is click-to-call by the way. I've already put in my physical location; it's displayed in the top left-hand corner as well as the bottom. And when your customers click on it, it will automatically take them to Google maps to get directions to your physical location. Over here is where you can update your social links. Put in the various social media platforms your food truck is active on, and the icons will be displayed on your Mighty Sites website, at the top and at the bottom. Let's move along and head over to "update section" and "update logo."

Now, if you don't have a logo yet because you're in the startup process of your small business, that's completely okay. Mighty Sites will literally just display your name; it still looks really great and professional. However, I do have a logo, so I'm going to go ahead and browse my device and upload it. Now, if you don't have a logo yet and you don't have a huge budget for a designer to create one for you, I do recommend you check out canva.com. You'll find a few free great options on the website. My logo has now been uploaded; however, I do want to make one or two amendments to the sizing. So, I'm going to click on this little pencil over here and slightly crop it so it fits better into that section. You can also add filters, rotate it, add frames, zoom in, etc. Lots of changes you can make to the logo if necessary. Awesome, let's go ahead and save that. We can make it bigger and smaller, but I've now cropped it, so the sizing is perfect.

With Mighty Sites as well, we've pre-selected all the colors throughout your website for your barbecue restaurant. However, I'm sure that it doesn't quite go with your branding, your logo, your menus. Maybe it's a completely different color, and you want to change it. You don't need to know color coding to do that; all you need to do is click on this handy little paint packet at the bottom right-hand corner and go through the various different color palettes available for you. So, I think this is much more suitable than the previous color, so I'm going to go ahead and save it. There are many color palettes to choose from, so just choose one that is suitable for your business.

Over here, I'm going to head to "update section" and head to "update image." Now, if you've got amazing images of all the delicious meals you're serving up, browse your device and upload it. Otherwise, search through the photo library. Remember, all these images are completely free to use. Marty sites will automatically search for "barbecue food truck," but you could just search for "food truck" or you can just search for "barbecue." Play around with the terms a little bit and just see which ones work best for you. So, there's lots of amazing images here that look absolutely delicious, so I'm gonna go ahead and look at one or two. Remember, if you have your own images, you can upload it. Let me give this one a bash and just see how well it looks over there. That looks great; however, I'm gonna go ahead and search for one more and just make sure it fits really well into that section and it stands out. So, I'm gonna try one more image and just see what it looks like. Awesome, I'm very happy with that, so I'm going to go ahead and save it. If you want to make changes, you can go ahead and do that at any time. There are no extra charges to make changes to your website.

Now, over here I've already added my images and pre-selected all the delicious meals you're serving up. It's already there, it's pre-selected. However, if you want to make one or two changes, I'm going to show you how easy it is to do that. I'm going to go ahead and click on this section over here and delete it, and I'm gonna go ahead and click on "update section" and add a menu item. Here, you can add your delicious items, add a bit of a description, and put the price in. Awesome, let's go ahead and save it. If you want to make one or two changes to that, go ahead and do that. So, I've done that now. I've already selected my menu items; everything looks pretty good.

Over here, it's the contact us section. If you've already got a little bit of an email list of all your customers, put your email address in over there, and customers can click on that to send you an email. So, I'm gonna go ahead and make sure my email address is displayed on my website, and it's gonna be displayed in that section as well. Awesome. Now, remember, every time you make changes, Mighty Sites will save that. So, if you close down your device or lose battery life, it's okay; all the changes are going to be saved.

So, I'm gonna go ahead and click on "update section," and let's update our testimonials. I'm sure you've got lots of happy customers that have given you lots of positive feedback. This is an opportunity for you to showcase it on your website, and I'm gonna show you exactly how easy it is to do that. Let's go ahead and click on the first section over here, and let's add a testimonial. So, my testimonial is from Emily. She's very happy with our services and the delicious meals that we're serving up, and she's just given me a bit of positive feedback. I'm gonna go ahead and put it in there and save it. Remember, you can add a few different ones. You've got enough space there to add three or four different ones. Let's go ahead and save that and move along.

Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is we've pre-written all the content for you. However, if you want to make changes to the content, you can do that. So, over here, I'm gonna go ahead and click on "update section" and update about us. Let's tell customers a little bit about our barbecue food truck, how long we've been in the industry, and what they can expect when they come and visit us. So, I'm gonna go ahead and delete all of that and write up a bit of content. If you have any photos of your team or yourself in action at the food truck, serving up those delicious meals, browse your device and upload it over there. I'm gonna go ahead and put my photo in there, and there we go. If you want to make one or two changes to the text, you can go ahead and do that at any time. Remember, Mighty Sites will always save your changes.

Alright, awesome, let's head over to the "update section" and "update FAQs." I'm sure you have some frequently asked questions you get all the time from your customers, and this is an opportunity to showcase that. I'm going to go ahead and click on this section over here and add an FAQ. What time do we open? Well, we open from 10 a.m. till 7 p.m., and we're closed on Sundays. Let's save that. If you want to make one or two changes, go ahead and do that.

Alright, let's move along. Over here, we have another opportunity to add another FAQ. I'm gonna go ahead and do that. So, what types of payment do we accept? We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards. Let's save that. So, if you want to make one or two changes to the FAQs, go ahead and do that.

Now, let's head over to the "update section" and "update contact." Over here, let's make sure our email address is displayed on our website and our physical location and our social media links. If you've got any other contact details, go ahead and pop it in over there. So, that's it, that's how easy it is to use Marty starts to generate a simple website for your barbecue food truck in less than a minute, and make changes to it as you need.

Now, let's take a closer look together. Everything looks pretty good to me. If you need to make changes, go ahead and do that. Remember, it's always free to make changes.
