How to Make a Website for a Computer Store - SUPER EASY! [Video]

Welcome to Mighty Sites YouTube channel. In this video today, I'm going to be showing you how to use the platform to build a website for your computer store. Once you've joined the platform, the first thing it's going to ask you to do is search for your market. At the top, we have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, and various side hustles, and we are adding more markets every single week. So, I'm gonna hit this up, and I'm gonna quickly search for my market: computer store. Here it is over there. I'm now going to go ahead and select the templates. Great!

Lesson starts: input a few basic details about our computer store so it can generate a simple website for us. I'm going to go ahead and put in my company name, as well as Master City and Master's origin. It doesn't matter where in the world your computer store is located; you can use the Multi-Side service. We have happy users from all around the globe.

Let's go ahead and change this type of business from "restaurant" to "retail" and click on "continue". Excellent! Next, provide a little more detail on how our customers can get in touch with us. I'm going to go ahead and put in my phone number as well as my email address.

Let's move along. Great! Where is our computer store located? I'm gonna go ahead and put in my street's address, as well as my postal code. Awesome! Let's get our setup. By what time do we open on a Monday? I'm going to say we're open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We also open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at those times. On Sunday, we open from 9 a.m., and we close early. I'm gonna say we close at 2 p.m. Okay, let's just leave that at 2:15 p.m. Awesome! Let's go ahead and select that option.

Great! Let's do a quick review. Everything looks pretty good to me, so I'm gonna move along. If you need to make changes, click on "update location" and "update hours" and make the necessary changes. And look at that! Mighty Sites has literally generated a simple website for me in not even a minute. Let's take a closer look.

Now, the beauty of MontiSats is we've pre-written all the content for you as a guideline. Of course, we pre-selected all the images as well. They're of high quality and they're completely free to use. However, I'm sure you've got some amazing images of all the different computer products you stock in your store, and you'll want to make one or two changes to the content that was pre-written for you. You can absolutely do that. So today, that's exactly what I'm going to be showing you. So, I'm going to be making my way through each section, from the top to the bottom, giving you a little bit of a look and feel of how the platform works and how simple it is to use. You don't need to know coding, you don't need to be a web developer, and you certainly don't need to hire a web professional either. So, let's get cracking!

I'm going to click on the first section over here and click on "show email on site". So, my email address is displayed on my website next to my phone number - just click to call. I already put in my address, my physical location. When my customers click on that address, it will automatically take them to Google maps to get directions to our physical location. Let's click on "Save" and head over to "update Social Links". Over here, you can put in the various social media platforms that your business is active on. Icons will be displayed at the top as well as the bottom, so your customers can easily give you a follow, get some engagement going, and see what you're up to.

Let's head on over to "update logo" and browse our device and upload our logo. If you don't have a logo yet, I do recommend you check out canva.com. You'll find a few free, great options on their website. The logo has been updated, so I'm going to go or upload it. I'm gonna go ahead and click on the little pencil and crop it, just so it fits a little bit better into that section. You can decorate it, you can add frames, you can filter it, zoom, rotate, flip it horizontally... some. Let's wait for that to re-upload. Done! Let's go ahead and click on "Save". We can make it bigger and smaller, but I think that sizing is perfect, so I'm going to go ahead and leave it as is.

Now, with Multi-Size as well, we pre-selected all the colors used throughout the website. You can change it. If these colors don't quite jive with your signage, your branding, your message, go ahead and click on the little paint bucket on the bottom right corner. You don't need to know color coding, and go through the various color palettes available for you to use. I'm going to go ahead and try this one. That looks absolutely stunning, so I'm gonna go ahead and save it and head on over to this section and head over to "update image". Now, over here, you can browse your device or drag and drop your own images. Otherwise, search through the photo library. Hundreds of images to choose from, all completely royalty-free, free to use. Now, Multi-Size will automatically search for "computer store", but you can play around with the terms. You can just search for "computers", perhaps. Let's give that one a bash. Awesome! So, I'm gonna go ahead and select one of these options. I think I'm going to go ahead and select this one. That works well at the top. Love it!

Please head on over to "update contents". Over here, you can change the title, subtitle, button. It doesn't have to say "contact us today", but I will leave one as this. And I'm gonna go ahead and choose the link. Now, you can link to another website if need be, an action, flexible directions, or click to email. So, I'm gonna go ahead and put this as "click to email". You can as well upload a PDF file, maybe it's a catalog or your recent deals and promotions you are running in PDF formats, so your customers can easily find it on your website. Over here, again, pre-written content. The button can link to various places. Click on "update section" and make the necessary changes.

We've now made our way through the top two sections, and you can continue making changes. Head on over to this section and update the contact form. You can edit this. So, here's what we've covered in today's video:
