How to Make a Website for a Japanese Food Store

Once you join the platform, the very first thing it's going to ask you to do is to search for your market at the top. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from, and we are adding more markets every single week. So, I'm gonna head to the top, search for my market - Japanese confectionery store. There it is over there. Let's go ahead and select the templates. Input a few basic details about our business so it can generate a simple website for us. I'm gonna pop it in Master C and Myspace Origin, and it doesn't matter where in the world your business is located. You can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the globe. Let's change this to retail, click on continue, and let Mighty Sites work its magic and create a simple website for my business.

And there you have it! It's literally done it in not even a minute. Let's take a closer look at what it's come up with together.

Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is we've pre-written all the content for you as a guideline. Of course, we've also pre-selected all the images as well. They're all really high quality, as you can see, completely free for you to use. However, I'm sure you've got some of your own images of all the delicious confectionery that you have at your store. You'll want to showcase it on your website so customers know what delightful products they can find in your store. I'm going to be showing you how to make some slight amendments to your website today. You don't need to know any sort of coding or be a web professional, and you seriously don't need to hire anyone to help you with this either. You can do it all yourself, even if you're not that tech-savvy.

So, I'm going to click on the first section at the top. I'm going to go ahead and make a correction as I can see I made a spelling error over there. I'm going to go ahead and put in my email address over here, and I want to make sure that is visible on my website. So, I'm going to go ahead and tick that box - show email on sites. Awesome! There it is, visible. Let's pop in our phone number over here. That is click-to-call, by the way. Our physical location, our street's address - I'm going to pop that in. The great thing about that physical location is, when your website is live, your customers can click on it. It will automatically take them to Google Maps. Under update Social Links, you can put in the various social media platforms your business is active on. Icons for your social channels will be displayed at the top, as well as at the bottom of your website. Under update logo, I'm going to go ahead and browse my device and upload the Multi Size logo for now. Over here, you can put in your logo. If you want to make slight amendments, crop it, rotate, zoom in, add frames, filters - click on that pencil over it. Otherwise, click on Save. Over here on the right is where you can make it bigger and smaller. Awesome!

Now, with Mighty Sites as well, we've pre-selected the colors for you. If you want to change them, click on that paint bracket bottom right-hand corner. No color coding necessary. Let's look for something a little bit more vibrant. Look at that, looks absolutely fantastic! Now, for each section you want to make amendments to, click on upgrade section directly underneath it. Over there, you can head on over to upgrade image. This is where you can browse your device and upload your own. Otherwise, search through the photo library - hundreds of images to choose from. You can play around with the keywords a little bit and just see which images pop up that are suitable for you. Let's try Japanese candy and just see what pops up. So, do play around. Awesome! So, play around with those keywords to look for a suitable image if you don't have your own already. And update action is where you can change that button. You can change the text on it from "contact us today" if you wish, and you can link the button to various places. Under update content, you can change the content that was pre-written for you as well.

Awesome, look at that! Looks absolutely great. Love the colors. Everything meshes so well together. And the last section over here is where you can pop in your business hours, trading hours for your customers' convenience, so they know exactly when you're open, so they can come stock up on all the Japanese treats they wish. If you have a custom domain for your business, click on connect your domain. Click on this button over here to connect it if you have one. Otherwise, you can purchase your own domain by clicking on "want a new domain" to make your website look even more professional and trustworthy.
