How to Make a Website for Your Falafel Restaurant [VIDEO BLOG]

Once you've joined the platform, the very first thing it's going to ask you to do at the top is to search for your market. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, services, and we are adding more markets every single week. So, I'm gonna go ahead and search for my market: falafel restaurant. There it is, over there. Awesome, that looks delicious. Let's go ahead and select that.

Also, I'm gonna go ahead and put in my company name, as well as my city and my state's origin. It doesn't matter where in the world your business is located; you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the globe. Let's go ahead and click on continue and let Marty sites work its magic and create a simple website for my falafel restaurant. And there you have it! It's literally done it in not even a minute. Let's take a closer look at what it's come up with together.

I'm going to click on the first section at the top and go ahead and put in my company email address so customers can easily reach out to me. Whoops! Let's go ahead and check that box underneath to make sure my email address is visible on my website. Let's go ahead and pop in our phone number, as well as our physical location, our street address. A great thing about that address, when your customers click on it, will automatically take them to Google Maps.

Let's go ahead and pop in our social media platforms we're active on over here and update social links. Icons will be displayed at the top, as well as at the bottom. I'm now going to go ahead and update my logo for my website. If you want to make slots amendments to your logo, add filters, frames, rotate, zoom, go ahead and click on the little pencil over it. Otherwise, go ahead and click on save, and you can make it bigger and smaller here on the right.

If you want to change them to go with your logo, your branding a little bit better, your menus, go ahead and click on the little paint bucket. For each section you want to make amendments to, click on update section. Head on over to update image, browse your device, and upload your own. Otherwise, search through the photo library. Hundreds of images to choose from, all completely free to use. Play around with the keywords a little bit and see what images pop up over there. Head over to update content. Buttons can link to various places. Maybe you don't offer an online ordering system. Maybe you just want your buttons to say "view our menu". Go ahead and choose a link. You can link to another website if you do offer an online ordering system third party. Otherwise, you can link to an action. Click to call, directions.

Over here is where you can put in the trading hours for your business for your customers' convenience. Go ahead and pop them in over here, and they will be displayed in the section, so your customers know your trading hours. For each section you want to make amendments to, click on upgrade section and work your magic. It's that simple.

If you have a custom domain for your business, go ahead and click on "connect your domain" at the bottom. So, if you already have a domain, if you don't have a domain yet and you want a website to look even more professional, go ahead and click on "buy a new domain" because you can now purchase your domain by the Mighty Sites platform.
