Make a Tile Business Website - FAST & EASY! [VIDEO GUIDE]

Welcome to the Mighty Sites YouTube channel. In this video today, I'm going to be demonstrating to you how to use the platform to build a website for your tile store. So, once you've joined the platform, it's going to go ahead and ask you to search for your market. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, and people with side hustles. So, I'm going to head to the top and search for my market, tile store. There it is! I'm now going to select that option.

Great! Let's tell Mighty Sites a few basic details about our tile store so it can generate a website for us. I'm now going to go ahead and put in my company name, as well as my city and my state's origin. Now, it doesn't matter where you are located in the world; you can enjoy the Mighty Sites Service. We have happy users from all around the globe. Let's go ahead and change the type of business from restaurant to retail and click on continue.

Great! How can our customers get in touch with us? Let's go ahead and put in our phone number as well as our email address. I'm now going to go ahead and put in my street address as well as my postal code and click continue.

Great! Let's get our setup. What time does this house store open on a Monday? I'm going to say we're open from 9 am to 5 pm. We also open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We're closed on Sundays.

Let's do a quick review and make sure everything's in order. Everything looks pretty good to me, so I'm going to move along. If you need to make any changes, click on update hours or update location to do so.

And, look at that! Mighty Sites has literally generated a simple website for my small business in literally less than a minute. Let's take a closer look. Great!

And the beauty of Mighty Sites is we've pre-written all the content for you as a guideline, and we pre-selected all the images, as you can see. They're all really high-quality images. However, if you've got your own photos of your tile store and you want to make a few amendments to the content that was pre-written for you, you can absolutely do so. You don't need to know any coding, you don't need to be a web developer, and you certainly don't need to hire a web developer either. It's super simple. So, instead, I'm going to be walking you through the process, through each section, from the top to the bottom, so you can have a little bit of a look and feel of how the service works. So, let's get cracking.

I'm not going to hit the top, and the first thing I'm going to do is click on the update section over here. One of the first changes I want to make is to click on "show email and start" so my email address is in full view on my website so my customers can easily click on it to get in touch with me next to my phone number, which is click-to-call, by the way. We've already put in our physical location, so you can find it in the top left-hand corner of your Mighty Sites website. The great thing about it is when your customers click on that address, it will automatically take them to Google maps to get directions to your tile store. Let's go ahead and click on Save and head to update Social Links. Over here, you can put in your various social media platforms that your guitar store is active on. Your icons will be displayed in the top right and quantities to that email address. Go ahead and click on Save and let's move along.

I'm now going to go ahead and update my logo. If you don't have a logo yet, that's completely okay. Mighty Sites will literally just display your name here of your business, and it still looks really great and professional. However, I do have a logo, so I'm going to go ahead and browse from my device and upload it. If you don't have a logo and you don't have a huge budget, I do recommend that you check out canva.com. There are a few great options on the website that are free to use. Your logo, you can customize to make bigger and smaller to suit your needs, but I think that sizing is perfect, so I'm going to leave it exactly the way it is.

Okay, so with Mighty Sites, we've also pre-selected the color palette for you. I guess you could call this like a teal, almost between a green and a blue. It's a really beautiful color, but perhaps it doesn't go with your branding, on your signage throughout your tile store, on your logo. It's a completely different color, maybe it's a little bit more neutral. So, you don't need to know color coding if you want to make changes. All you need to do is click on this handy little Paint Bucket and go through the various different options available. We are adding more color palettes every single week. I quite like this one, so I'm going to go ahead and save it, and as you can see, it's now used throughout my Mighty Sites website, and it looks really great. On to the next section over here.

I'm going to hit upgrade image. If you have your own image for the background over here, go ahead and browse from your device and upload it, otherwise, search through the photo library. There are hundreds of images to choose from, and Mighty Sites will automatically search for a tile store. You can play around with the terms a little bit and put in "tiles" and see what pops up. So, there we go! I really like the image that I already have, but I'm going to go ahead and select this one so you can have a look at how you can amend it. Let's check that out, that looks really great.

Content can be amended, go ahead and change their title and subtitle to suit your needs. The button currently says "visit our showroom," which I'm happy with, but if you want to amend it, go ahead and change the button text and choose your link. Now, you can link to another website if need be, you can link to an action like click to call, directions, click the email, or another one of my favorite options is to upload a PDF file. So, perhaps you have a catalog of all the different tile options you offer in PDF format, go ahead and upload it to that button so when your customers click on it, they can view your catalog easily. But for this one, I'm going to put directions because I want people to easily visit my showroom and find it. Let's move along.

Over here, again, pre-written content for you. The button can link to various places, go ahead and make the changes by clicking on update section. We've now made our way onto the broader section over here. You can put a little bit more details of how you came into the tile industry, how long your business has been running, your background, the different tiles your store offers, what kind of contractors would use this, or homeowners. Do you also offer a tile cutting service or custom tiles, personalized designs? Go ahead and put all the details over here. Your customers would love to hear your story.

Image can be amended, choose one from the photo library by clicking on the update section or upload one of your own. Over here, we've got another great spot for a high-quality image. This one's really awesome, so I'm leaving it the way it is. If you need to make changes, go ahead and click on update section and search through that photo library or upload one of your own.

We've now made our way into the services section over here. You can put a little bit more details of the different services your tile store offers. Do you offer over 700 designs? Perhaps the different style options you offer: porcelain, wood look, metal look, cement look? Go ahead and put all those details over here. If you need to make any large changes to that address, the physical location, or the hours we previously put in, click on the handy updates section over here.

So, look at that, we've literally gone through our website for our tile store in literally less than 10 minutes. It's super easy to make those changes. I didn't need to know any color coding. I didn't need to be a web professional, or even hire a web professional to help me out. Yeah, it was such a breeze.
