Make Simple Website for Vitamins and Supplements Store [VIDEO GUIDE]

Welcome to the Mighty Sites YouTube channel. In this video today, I'm going to be demonstrating how to use the platform to build a website for your vitamins and supplements store. So, once you join the platform, it's going to go ahead and ask you to search for your market at the top. We have hundreds of different markets to choose from for different small businesses, solopreneurs, and people with side hustles, and we are adding more markets every single week. So, I'm gonna head to the top, and I'm gonna search for my market: vitamins and supplement store. There it is over there. I'm now going to go ahead and select that template.

Great! Let's tell Mighty Sites a few basic details about our vitamins and supplement store so it can generate a simple website. I'm going to go ahead and put in my company name, as well as my city and my state or region. It doesn't matter where in the world you're located; you can enjoy the Mighty Sites service. We have happy users from all around the globe. Let's go ahead and change the type of business from restaurant to retail and click on continue.

Great! How can our customers get in touch with us? I'm going to go ahead and pop in my phone number over here, as well as my email address. Let's move along. Great! Where is our vitamins and supplements store located? I'm gonna pop my street address in over here, as well as my postal code. We previously put in our city and our state or province. Let's get our hours set up. What time do we open on a Monday? I'm going to say we open from 9 am to 5 pm. We also open on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We are actually closed on Sundays. Awesome! Let's do a quick review. Make sure everything's in order, but everything looks pretty good to me, so I'm going to move along. If you need to make changes, click on "update location" or "update hours" and make the necessary changes.

And look at that! Mighty Sites has literally generated a simple website for my vitamins and supplement store in not even a minute. Let's take a closer look together. Now, the beauty of Mighty Sites is we've pre-written all the content for you. We've pre-selected all the images as well; they are really high quality and they're completely free to use. However, I'm sure you've got your own images of all the different products you stock in your store, and maybe you want to make one or two changes to the content that was pre-written for you as a guideline. You can absolutely do that. It's super simple. It's not complicated in any way. You don't need to be a web developer, you don't need to know coding, and you certainly don't need to hire a web professional to help you with this either. So, showing you exactly how to use the Mighty Sites platform and how to make changes to the template that was generated for you. So, I'm going to quickly start my way from the top at the first section and make my way through. So, let's get cracking.

The first thing I'm going to do is click on "update section" at the top. And I want to make sure my email address is displayed on my Mighty Sites website by ticking "show email on site". You can now see it in the top right-hand corner of my Mighty Sites website, next to my phone number, which is click to call, by the way. I've already put in my location, and the great thing about that location displayed on the top left-hand corner is when you click on it, it will automatically take you to Google Maps to get directions to your vitamin store. Let's move along and head to "update Social Links". Now, over here, you can put in the various social media platforms that your vitamins store is active on. The icons will be displayed in the top right-hand corner as well as at the bottom. Let's quickly take a look. There we go. There is an option for LinkedIn, YouTube, and Facebook as well, so your customers can easily give you a follow, see what you're up to, and get some engagement going. Awesome.

I'm now going to head over to "update logo". Now, if you don't have a logo yet, Mighty Sites will literally just display your business name, and it still looks really great and professional. However, I do have a logo, so I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to browse my device and I'm gonna upload it. If you don't have a logo yet and you don't have a huge budget for a logo either, I do recommend you check out canva.com. You'll find a few free great options on that website. Awesome! The logo has been updated. If I want to make any amendments to that logo, click on the little pencil over here. We can crop it, so I'm going to go ahead and do exactly that. You can also add some filters, rotate, or flip it or zoom in if necessary. So, I've slightly cropped it just so it fits better. I'm going to go ahead and upload that. As soon as it's done, awesome, let's click on "Save". My logo is now updated, and it looks really awesome. Very happy with that. We can make it bigger and smaller to suit our needs.

Let's move along. Now, with Mighty Sites as well, we've pre-selected all the colors we use throughout your website for you. However, perhaps it doesn't quite go with your branding on your logo or the signage throughout your store; you can change it. You don't need to know color coding. So, all you need to do is click on this handy little paint bucket over here on the bottom right-hand corner and go through the various different color palettes available for you to use. Let's have a look and see which one is suited for my vitamin store and what works well with my branding. Let's take a look at that one. It's a little bit broad. Let's try that one. I think I'm gonna go ahead with this one over here. Awesome!

Over here, I'm now going to head over to "upgrade section" and head over to "update image". Now, over here, you can browse the device, and I'll load your image if you have some of your own. Otherwise, search through the photo library. There are hundreds of images to choose from. Mighty Sites will automatically search for "vitamin and supplement store", however, I'm gonna just go ahead and search for "vitamin". Awesome! Let's have a look and see what pops up. So, there are some really great images. Um, I'm gonna go ahead and select this one. Awesome! Let's go ahead and save that over there. We can change it at a later stage, but I'm gonna go ahead and leave it. Remember, all those images in the photo library are completely free to use.

Let's head over to "update contents". Now, over here, you can change your title, subtitle to suit your needs. The button press doesn't have to say "contact us today". Perhaps you just wanted to say "get directions". So, let's go ahead and pop that in and go ahead to choose the link. Now, we can link to another website if need be. We can link to an action like click to call, directions, or click to email. So, I'm gonna go ahead and link to directions. Now, one of my favorite options as well is to upload a PDF file. So, there is an option for that. Maybe you have a catalog of all your current deals and promotions in catalog format, or all the products you stock; you could upload it there as well. Awesome! Over here again, pre-written content as a guideline, of course. The button can link to various places. Click on "update section" and work your magic.

We've now made our way into the banner section. Over here, you can put a little bit more details of how your business came to be, how you got into this industry. Do you offer a variety of supplements for various health goals, weight loss, immune support, mental health? Maybe put a little bit more details of the team running the show in your store. Awesome! Let's head on overworks.

We've now made our own to the services section. Over here, you can put a little bit more details on the different services you offer or, shall I say, the products you stock. Maybe you stock vitamins, multivitamins, minerals, Children's Health, whey protein, probiotics, herbal teas. Do you perhaps have homeopathic medicines in your store? Go ahead and put all those details over here, so your customers know exactly what they can come to your store for. If you need to make any last changes to that address or those trading hours, click on "update section" and make the necessary changes.

Now, if you have a custom domain, you can link it. All you need to do is click on "connect your domain" over here. Say, "I already have a domain", and go through the various steps and linking it.
